About Us

The energy efficient buildings are built with internal rammed earth walls for thermal mass and keep the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter. The building envelope uses Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) with double-glazed windows and acts like a cool room. Other energy efficient technologies like LED lighting, heat pumps and solar panels keep energy usage low. The rooms still have quality reverse cycle heating and cooling and a large deck area (which will be shaded in the near future) and this provides cross ventilation to keep the rooms fresh and light. These features provide year-round comfort for our guests while keeping our energy costs maneagble. The energy efficient buildings are built with internal rammed earth walls for thermal mass and keep the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter.
